This second in my "Burning Us" series talks about the inner strength we have to weather the storm of life, and the calmness that comes from an intimate relationship with the beauty of the world. These qualities we draw upon as we look to improve our place and ourselves.
The painting also talks of sadness at the state balance in our global culture. Our almost limitless potential is steadily eroded as it is built, carelessly and cruelly burnt before our eyes. Just as we begin to reflect more deeply the nature of our existence.
