	60x50 cm A Boy and His Canoe was inspired by a trip to Stradbroke Island. Brown Lake is an inland fresh water lake stained like tea from the surrounding trees. I loved the reflections on the water with the canoe and boy telling a story. What a lovely place to paddle a canoe! It is painted in beautiful colours with oil paint. The frame is custom made. It is double framed, the outer frame reflects the colour of the bark in the trees around the lake. It is a peaceful scene of a captured moment in time.
