Watercolour on 300lb Arches Cold Pressed Paper.
While this painting is not under glass, it is not necessary as the watercolour paper is mounted on a quality thick edge canvas, treated with a protective UV Sealant, and waxed with an artist quality soft wax which has then been hand buffed to a satin/matte finish. This is a modern finish which alleviates the problem of moisture getting behind the glass and causing mildew |
