60x90 cm Moonlit blossoms Acrylic and gesso textures on stretched canvas, ready to hang, 60x90 cm , signed at the front. It was a fun thing for me to experiment with textures and intentionally change the perspective of buildings, making them lean further into the alleyway. I think this has added to the painting's whimsical and fun personality. I drew inspiration from my visits to various old towns overseas, where I found an appreciation for the stunning old houses in the streets. This painting shows a charmingly quirky alleyway scene that is illuminated by the soft glow of the moon and stars against a deep blue sky. The cobblestone path leads through the alleyway, creating a sense of whimsy and old-world charm. The leaning old buildings, with their weathered boards and peeling paint, add character and history to the scene. The pink and yellow blossoms trees that line the alleyway provide a pop of color against the muted tones of the buildings and cobblestones. It's a peaceful and enchanting place, where time seems to stand still, and anything is possible. | |
