| This painting titled 'The Turf Club ' is a picture of a recent outing to the Sunshine Coast Turf Club in Caloundra. I was impressed with the venue and the open set out of the Facility. I chatted with the Horse trainers and enjoyed the day greeting a couple of locals. I've interpreted the painting adding the impression of the old and the new with the Turf Club being a modern facility and with a couple of old Horse sheds one in the foreground. Overall I wanted to capture a Sunny environment at the Turf Club with people interacting and enjoying the day. |
