| These birds of paradise suddenly emerge from the green of my garden and flaunt their fiery headdress. They remind me of sentinels keeping watch. Each has a different focus and views a different reality from the other but they come from the same root. In this way they remind me of people. We view life from the circumstances that surround and inform us and each separate reality is true for that person
