| Pandanus trees are a feature of the Wide Bay coast line. The intent of this drawing is to capture the distinctive form of the Pandanus tree. It focuses on the spiralling leaves, highlighting the geometry and texture of both leaves and fruit. The work reflects my appreciation of shapes, patterns and textures found in the natural landscape. |
