Reflecting on self By Meg Mclennan
Dimensions: 100x100 cm
Medium: Acrylic paint

This work was the influenced by my love of cubism and a portrait of my eldest daughter.
I have captured her “resting face” with eyes closed because she is rarely restful rather she is “restless “ but always beautiful.
This reflective state is something I wish for her to have as she makes decisions about her future, relationships and her career.
To be reflective, resourceful and always authentic to her true self.
It’s a very personal work that I hope you love as much as I do.
