I’m Loraine Rheinberger, based in Brisbane and inspired by the birds and flowers in parks and gardens near my home. My art is a testament to our deep connection with the natural environment.
Watercolour is well-suited to interpreting natural colours and textures. Its fluidity and blending capabilities mirror organic forms, yielding both expected results and delightful surprises.
By using vibrant colours, I aim to convey the profound intensity of this connection in each piece.
With a lifelong passion for capturing the beauty of the world around us, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Newcastle in 2001.
Currently, I am expanding my experience of watercolour techniques to encompass pet portraits.
