Emma is primarily a self-taught artist, she has completed numerous art courses in Kuringai & Rozelle as well as TAFE Meadowbank. In 2014 Emma was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder & it was not until 2022 did she use artwork as a therapeutic outlet for the management of her illness.
Emma was selected as a finalist for the Greenway Art Prize Leichardt in 2021 & a finalist in the Henry Lawson Festival Grenfell in 2022. Artworks in these exhibitions included photography, drawing & acrylic painting. Two of Emma's artworks were also selected for the finals in the MHFA Art Competition in South Yarra in 2023.
In 2025 Emma won the Feel Good Art Prize which was held at the Quadrant Gallery in Hawthorn Melbourne. The judges were Corbett Lyon, Dr Damian Smith & Tony Jackson.
Emma was an exhibitor in the Blue Square Art Competition in Bowral in April 2025. As well Emma has sold artworks at the Incognito Art show.
Emma features her artwork on the Bluethumb Art Gallery and Art lovers Australia.
