| Donna Vale is a Brisbane based artist who is inspired by the natural world, the animals, the plants, and vistas. She has had a passion for art since childhood, being retired now allows more time to develop this. The aim of the artist is to share a deep love of nature and enrich our lives with the wonder and beauty of it.
Working originally in pastels and acrylics, over the past couple of years, watercolours and coloured pencils have become preferred mediums, allowing for increased focus on the detail of the subject. Producing detailed portraits, allows the viewer an insight into the uniqueness and beauty of the subjects.
Influenced by Australian artists such as Paul Margocsy, Lyn Diefenbach, Heidi Willis, Rachel Hollis, and Christine Porter.
Donna has been displaying and selling her work over the years in a variety of exhibitions such as the Ekka, Rotary Art Extravaganza, Creative Strokes Artists and St Sebastians Art Show. Her work is currently displayed with Base Artists at Holland Park.
