My Profile

Brenda Bryant

Brenda travelled extensively in her youth, later married then had 3 children. Work and family took up most of her spare time, limiting her desire to take art lessons. When she retired to the beautiful Tweed Valley in Northern New South Wales some 12 years ago, she was then able to indulge in taking art classes in Murwillumbah and start painting, initially with soft pastels, moving to acrylics, oil pastels and oils. She now concentrates on painting with oil and has been successful in receiving commendations at various art competitions and has sold many of her artworks.
For the last few years, Brenda was represented by Mist Gallery in Cabarita Beach, where she has held many exhibitions. However, due to the rising cost of living and increased rentals, the Gallery closed in November 2024. Brenda has also exhibited at the Murwillumbah Main Street Gallery, ArtPost Uki, Nimbin Artists Gallery, Roxy Gallery and the Murwillumbah Library. Some of Brenda’s achievements are:
