| After retiring, I embraced my lifelong passion for the arts, immersing myself in a range of creative practices including painting, mosaics, sewing, printmaking, and ceramics. My home studio is both a sanctuary and a place of discovery—where I create, reflect, and draw strength from nature and the garden.
Over the past six years, I’ve deepened my skills through dedicated study at the University of Southern Queensland, where I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts. I’ve exhibited and sold works both locally and online and continue to explore new ways of sharing my art.
As someone living with complex PTSD, art has been central to my wellbeing—it offers a quiet, powerful language for healing and connection. Now working from Pop’d Art studio in Toowoomba, I spend several days each week creating alongside other emerging artists. The journey is ever-evolving, and I remain inspired by the endless possibilities of creative expression.
