| Art & creativity have been such an essential part of my being although it is something I have come back to after many years. My mother has been an amazing inspiration in my life and some of my earliest memories were watching her in her studio painting & also creating alongside her. My love for art & beauty has always stayed with me and I felt a need to start creating again. Art is something now I would not be complete without. I am engrossed in the whole process from the thrill of trying new products & paints, experimenting, the captivating flow of paint & colour, the feeling of getting lost in your work & so much more. My work is a range of fluid, portrait & abstract work predominantly in Acrylic however many of my pieces are mixed media with texture & other elements. I love colour, particularly the colours of the sea & nature, however, could not possibly limit my subject matter and will explore whatever inspires or captivates me at the time. |
