| Originally from Canada, I arrived in Australia in 1987 as a singer/songwriter. To broaden my creative horizons, I started travel sketching in 2019 and quickly took to acrylics and oils as well as watercolours to express my love of the creation and beauty around us. Although I have no formal art training, since 2020 I have done short courses and workshops with Jessica Ashton, Mike Lamble, Fiona Lowry, and Petra Pinn. I have been a finalist in the Doyles Art Prize twice and the Northern Beaches Gallery Summer Exhibition Prize, as well as exhibiting in numerous art shows, restaurants and boutique venues. |
