| Lauren is an artist based in Southeast QLD, Australia. She paints with oil paint to create art that expresses beauty, concepts or emotions. She finds painting to be meditative and aims to capture moments of calm in our busy world.
Lauren has been recognised as a category winner in the Jimboomba Art Show and the Tambourine Mountain Show. She has been selected as a finalist in The Doyle's Art Award and has had her work displayed in the Art Express group exhibition. Lauren has works in collections in Australia (including the University of Newcastle).
Lauren has a particular interest in painting figures within landscapes with a narrative element. She finds inspiration for her paintings from locations around the Scenic Rim and from her travels to remote areas of Australia. |
