| It is magical when colour and line flow from your hands . . . evolving into breathtaking artworks. Often, I don’t realise that these creative elements are within me. In my 2D and 3D work, I try to capture how light glints off water and flows across the landscape. I am inspired by the shadows left in the negative space between the water ripples and leave scattering. It feels like serendipity, when nature reveals one of its amazing creations to me. My work honours the beautiful natural environment which holds, protects and nurtures us. I am re-emerging into the art world after many years focusing on my family and teaching. I now spend my time making, thinking and celebrating art. |
