|  I began painting upon retirement about six years ago and soon received a Highly Commended at Moonee Valley Art Show, 2018. I have since been showing primarily at Victorian Artists Society (now being a Signatory Member), receiving a Highly Commended in winter, 2019 and was voted (by members) to be in the 2022 Artist of The Year Exhibition. I held an exhibition in the VAS Cato Gallery in 2021. When I applied recently for another exhibition of my work, I was rejected. Apparently my work "crosses cultural boundaries". ??? I recently completed a mural at Red Edge Winery, Heathcote.
