| As an emerging artist, Jenny He-Art is excited to present her work to the public for the first time. She specializes in creating expressive animal and portrait drawings using charcoal, graphite, soft pastels, and Prisma pencils. Jenny finds that capturing the eyes of her subjects is key to conveying their energy and emotion.
Her artistic journey began in 2022 during a trip to The Gambia, West Africa, where she met local artists who appreciated her colorful pen doodles. Encouraged by their enthusiasm, one artist mentored her, introducing her to sketching techniques. Initially skeptical, Jenny soon discovered a passion for drawing, particularly animals and portraits.
Drawing inspiration from nature, Jenny enjoys sketching in various outdoor settings-cafés, parks, and near bodies of water. She is deeply moved when viewers have an emotional response to her art, considering it a profound achievement.
