| Based in Brisbane now after moving from Maryborough QLD in 2018, I have been dabbling in different ways to express myself artistically for most of my adult life. Previous creative outlets have included jewellery and metalsmithing, pottery & ceramics, watercolours and inks.
I am currently embracing abstract style painting using acrylic paints, and different texture mediums. My inspiration comes mostly from nature and botanicals, an endless resource of colour inspiration, and I love to paint with a cold beer in hand and a good playlist in the background. I'm curious and experimental and in teaching myself through trial and error, I feel this helps me stay authentic as I continue to develop my own unique style.
My profession life keeps me very busy, and painting is my way to find mindfulness, balance and joy. |
