| I have been sketching most of my life but only started painting with acrylics since my retirement 5 years ago. I have had no formal training and purely self taught. I lean more towards realism art as I like to portrayed subjects in their natural form. Art has become more than just a pastime, it is my happy place where anything is possible and inspiration can develop from the beautiful natural surroundings this country has to offer to a spare of the moment idea. Art has changed the way I view the world seeing beauty and colour in even the most simple of things that I once took for granted. |
