| Art has always played a part in my life since I was a little girl. I majored in Art at teachers training college in South Africa. I loved the smell of the art classroom. Dabbling in art took a back seat after I emigrated to Australia as my focus at the time was to secure a job as a primary school teacher. However art was always the little whisper in my ear that reminded me to pick up a paintbrush. Once I became a stay at home mom I loved painting; being creative with my children and decorating their rooms with murals. About 4 years ago I started attending art classes regularly at Arts Tree in Wynnum. Thanks to the incredible teachers I feel confident to pursue art as a career. This year I purchased a hobby shed from Aarons Outdoor and feel very grateful to have dedicated space to create in.
