| Send Email I have always enjoyed dabbling in all sorts of art and crafts. I have spent time creating stained glass works, ceramics and scrapbooking/card making. As a high school student, I first began water colour painting.
Now, as a retiree, I have had the spare time to take my painting more seriously. I enjoy painting animals using a palette knife, acrylic paint with a textured medium. I feel like there is an element of freedom when painting animals as no two look the same and there is a degree of artistic license that can be taken.
I love seeing the animals come to life as I add the final highlighting tints and the glint into their eyes.
