Kristy Flynn

Kristy’s art journey started at the end of 2013, when she needed to escape from her family for a couple hours a week. With no formal training she has gone from strength to strength. Starting with realistic to bright and bold palettes. Colour and animals are her passion, and she uses a mixture of mediums to create her colourful creations.
Being based on the southside of Brisbane art has opened up numerous opportunities for her. Kristy coordinates 2 galleries. Able Gallery at Logan Artists Association, and The Gallery in the Corridor at Beenleigh Historical Village. She is an artist in residence at Shailer Park Independent Primary School, teaches classes and runs 2 sip and paints.
Having won numerous awards She believes that doing what you love will shine through in your work.
Painting is her happy place where she is constantly learning new techniques and mediums. Kristy hopes her art projects this.
