| I am a Brisbane based artist whose work is highly influenced by fantasy, pop culture, Art Nouveau and Art Deco and is usually based on a female subject. I also love to paint floral images and animals. I work mainly in acrylics, but do incorporate other mediums including oils, inks and also collage.
I have been developing my style for many years and am constantly tweaking and changing as time goes on, some of my influences being Gustav Klimt, Frida Kahlo, Manga and animation, fashion and jewellery.
My aim is to create something beautiful and thought provoking and to appeal to the viewers imagination. I hope the viewer enjoys my subjects and use of colour that I incorporate into each piece. |
